What we have done:
This week we have worked on using tape diagrams to solve multiplication problems and division problems. In content, we continued to learn about how the westward expansion affected the Native Americans. In writing, we worked on our personal narratives. In language, we worked on making predictions, questioning and vocabulary.
Happening this week:
We will be reading Babushka’s Doll this week. Students will be working on making predictions and using questioning to help understand their reading. They also will go over making connections. We will work on a narrative writing piece and learn how to organize our writing and how to make revisions and to edit for mistakes.
We are going to continue to learn about division and multiplication. We will also continue to learn about the distributive property again.
We will not have content this next Friday because there is no school.
There is no school next Friday! Teachers have professional development this day.
