This week we have been learning about action, linking and helping verbs and took a quiz over them. Students continued working on writing about an animal in their informational writing pieces. In math we have been practicing multiplication and division with word problems. In content we tested over magnets and static electricity.
ELA:
In writing we will finish revising, editing and publishing about the animals. Students will be learning about adverbs and how an adverb describes a verb.
Math:
We will be taking a mid-module exam over multiplication and division.
Content:
We will start researching for our PBL about Famous Missourians.

How you can help:
* Please encourage your child to practice their addition, subtraction and multiplication facts.
* Knowing fact families with addition and subtraction like 8 + 7 = 15 so 15 - 8 = 7
* Also knowing multiplication facts will help your child with division too 6 X 7 = 42 so 42 ÷ 7 = 6
* Your child can practice their facts at home with online games, flashcards, and quizzes!
