This week we have continued to study non-fiction text features and will take a quiz on Tuesday. We started a new unit in math talking about area and have continued to work on our Famous Missourian projects.
ELA:
We will start learning about the Civil War and our mentor text will be Pink and Say by Patricia Polacco. We will finish up our informational writing for our Famous Missourian projects.
Math:
We will continue to work on finding area of shapes.
Content:
Students will continue working on PBL about Famous Missourians.

Zearn.org is a wonderful website that gives the students extra practice on the math lessons they have learned.
Xtramath is a great resource for fact fluency.
As we continue to work on famous Missourians encourage your child to tell you about the different facts they are learning about their person.
